Window Art on Avenue 50

Outpost for Contemporary Art, on Avenue 50 just off of York Boulevard, is using its window as a venue for artists to share images and text-based works with neighborhood passersby. First up in the “Say Something” window project is artist Paul Pescador’s “Thank You.” The 9x5-foot installation contains over 100 thank you letters, the subject matter of which varies from the sincere to the banal. The letters were shared by people who live in Northeast Los Angeles. Pescador is the co-director of workspace, a project space in Lincoln Heights.
